In second grade, I learned the word entrepreneur, and from that moment, I knew I wanted to be my own boss. A few years later, when Ne-Yo released “Miss Independent,” I remember being inspired by the image of a confident, independent, successful Black woman. I knew that was the kind of life I wanted to create for myself.

In 2018, I made a promise to myself that one day I would work for myself. I had no idea that just two years later, I would begin turning that promise into reality. Beauty had always come naturally to me—especially brows. What started as a talent for penciling in the perfect brow eventually became the beginning of something much bigger.

In 2020, I took the leap into entrepreneurship and started the business that would eventually become NVLUXE. I began self-taught, learning through experience and constantly perfecting my craft. In 2022, I decided to take my passion even further by enrolling in esthetics school and becoming a licensed esthetician.

Today, NVLUXE has grown beyond where it started. I specialize in waxing, skincare, brows, and permanent brow artistry, with every service centered around making my clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.

I genuinely love what I do. For me, this has never been solely about the money—it’s about creating an experience people want to return to. My goal is for every person who enters my space to receive quality service while still feeling like they’re among friends.

I’m still building, still learning, and still walking by faith. What started as a childhood dream has become my reality—and I’m excited to see just how far NVLUXE can go.
